Siantira Events is a free-to-use event discovery service. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect, store or sell your personal data. This policy explains what limited information is processed when you use the service and how third-party providers are involved.
1. Who we are
Siantira Events is operated by Siantira, a UK registered sole trader. We are the data controller for any personal data processed through this website.

2. What information we collect
Siantira Events collects the minimum information necessary to provide the service:
- Location (city name) — entered voluntarily by you to show relevant events and travel estimates. This is a city name only (e.g. "Manchester") and is not your precise GPS location. It is held in your browser session only and is not transmitted to or stored by Siantira.
- Search queries — text you type into the event search bar is sent to our API to query event providers. It is not logged or stored by Siantira beyond the duration of the request.
- Standard web server logs — our hosting provider (Vercel) may record standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. These are retained in accordance with Vercel's own privacy policy and are used solely for security and diagnostic purposes.
We do not collect names, email addresses, payment details, or any other personal information unless you actively contact us.
3. Cookies
Siantira Events does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any other user tracking service.
Your browser may store session data (such as your chosen location) locally. This data never leaves your device and is cleared when you close your browser.
4. Third-party services
Siantira Events retrieves event and venue data from the following third-party providers. When you view events or click through to purchase tickets, you will interact with these services and their own privacy policies will apply.
Skiddle EVENT DATA
Provides UK event listings, venue information and ticket links. Event data is displayed with attribution as required by Skiddle's terms of use.

Provides hotel availability and pricing data for venues near events. No personal data is shared with LiteAPI unless you proceed to a hotel booking.

This website is hosted on Vercel's infrastructure. Vercel may process standard server log data including IP addresses in accordance with their data processing agreement.

The Exo 2 font is loaded from Google Fonts. Google may log font request data in accordance with their privacy policy.
Google Privacy Policy →When you click "Get tickets" or external travel links, you leave Siantira Events and enter the relevant third-party platform. Siantira is not responsible for the privacy practices of those platforms.
5. How we use information
The limited information processed by Siantira Events is used solely to:
- Return relevant event results for your chosen location and search query
- Calculate estimated travel times and costs between your city and event venues
- Retrieve hotel availability near event venues
- Maintain the security and performance of the service
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or marketing purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with any third party for their own marketing purposes.
6. Data retention
Siantira does not store personal data. Search queries and location inputs are processed in real time and are not persisted to any database.
API responses (event listings, hotel rates) are cached for short periods (5–30 minutes) at the server level to improve performance. These caches contain no personal data.
Vercel server logs are retained in accordance with Vercel's data retention policy, typically 30 days.
7. Your rights under UK GDPR
As a UK resident you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

8. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time as the service develops. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of Siantira Events after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
